“The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.”  - Confucius

Philadelphia’s own, Drew Mills is pretty much the young Confucius of Hip-Hop. He is self-disciplined, focused, and wise. He will chill on your couch, eat some rice with the chopsticks stored conveniently in his hair, swig from the giant water bottle that comes with him wherever he goes, and then stand up and rap with a confidence and control well beyond his 22 years.

We shot Drew in Chinatown, NYC. It was possibly the coldest night in December.  Luckily our Confucian focus, a tiny bottle of whiskey, and the promise of noodle soup were enough to keep us warm. Drew showed up at the shoot dressed for the elements in customized denim by Philly niche brand Righteous Rebel. His new project “OldBoy” is set to release in February.
